We Provide Facilities to Help Employers enhance their Recruitment Process and Innovative measures to Unemployed Youth to Enhance their employability
In addition to basic training in the various components of employability skills, the unemployed youth would be trained in making presentations about themselves using webcam facilities. Eventually, a copy of the video would be sent to potential employers who would be in a better position to judge the presentation skills of the candidates before inviting them for interviews. This should enhance the efficiency of the recruiting exercise.
Provide consultancy services in the area of Technical and Vocational Education and Training and management
Given our wide expertise in the world of TVET and Management, the company undertakes consultancies for different governments of Africa and beyond. Many such consultancies have been carried out by one of the directors for international organisations such as World Bank, UNESCO, GIZ for different governments of the African Continent.
Produce and publish a training and Employment magazine
A magazine dedicated to Training and Employment of youth will be produced and published on a quarterly basis. Despite the fact that some training institutions do advertise in the traditional press from time to time and through the web for those who have access to the net, there is not enough information available about training and its development, incentives available, necessary regulation, the training institutions delivering training, most particularly private ones (there are over 500 in Mauritius) and the type of training being delivered.
In brief, we still have a long way to go to ensure that every Mauritian has access to the right information regarding the importance of training, emerging sectors and the new skills required, the type and evolution in the training arena, the different training providers, their locations and the training they deliver, let alone the progress of training throughout the world.
This training magazine, as per the title, aims to bridge that gap whilst being dedicated to training and employment. It will bring to every Mauritian, information sufficient and necessary to help him/her to choose the type of training he/she wants to follow. It will bring a level of connectivity. That’s really what people want in life. To feel connected. We think that this magazine will bring its contribution to the building of a learned and competent population in Mauritius.
It will also provide a platform for Mauritian teenagers to express themselves on topical issues which are certainly of concern to them and upon which they have their own opinions which must be heard.
Incidentally many Mauritians proceed overseas for their tertiary studies. Too often they are not aware of all the procedures that they must follow and face difficulties and get discouraged in their initiatives. This magazine will provide user friendly information regarding the necessary demarches Mauritian youth must undertake if they want to proceed overseas for their studies.
Provide training whenever the need is felt
The company considers it a necessity that innovative training will be provided whenever the need is felt. It will not indulge into the traditional type of training which is being dispensed by already available training providers.
Contrarily it may refer to their collaboration should training already dispensed is needed during the course of its intervention
